My kiddos, 4 and 2, love this! It smells delicious and is a pretty purple, pink color like juice. It helps them keep their blood sugar regulated so they are happier toddlers. Love that it's an easy snack option mid day!
As a busy Mom always on the go I drink protein powders and realized that there had to be something similar available for my kids. Then I found POWKids and liked that it was formulated by a doctor as well as another Mom! I bought the Passionberry because the boys are not big chocolate lovers. My 2 year old likes anything and loves it but my 7 year old is very picky and I had to water it down for him so it was not as strong. Overall I like that the dose ranges by age and that I can water it down as I need. This has been a new addition to our afternoon snacks!
This is sweet and tasty. I usually don't like things that are sweetened exclusively with stevia, but it works for this particular flavor mix. I've enjoyed adding it and some yogurt to smoothies.I like the nutrient profile on it, it packs a good punch of protein for kids or adults, and the choline levels are perfect for my family. We use choline supplementation for assorted reasons, and are able to skip additional supplements on days we use this mix.
My kids like the taste of this. It’s great in a smoothie or just mixed with water. Seems like a quality product.
Not long ago, I picked up this packet of protein powder to make for my son (the picky eater). If he could eat chicken nuggets, pizza, and takis every day, he definitely would. That being said, he looks healthy and he's very active, but I just want him to get a little more protein into his diet. (We've tackled the veggies and fiber, so now on to protein). The drink itself has a decent taste, if you like berries. To me it's pretty thick and works better if you blend it into a smoothie texture with ice (at least that's how I like it). The price point is pretty competitive with other products, and overall it seems to be a decent drink mix overall. Is it something that we consume daily? Probably not, but a couple times a week is more our speed.Overall, it's a way to get that extra protein into the diet, and it mixes easily and is very drinkable.
